Imagine this...

Smooth, glowy skin in 2 weeks

Due to the natural ageing process, fine lines and wrinkles can begin to form on the skin overtime. This is due to collagen and elastin loss paired with repetitive muscle movement.

Wrinkle Reduction treatments can help soften these lines allowing you to look more refreshed and youthful.

How can it benefit me

Are you noticing fine lines and wrinkles settling into your skin? Would like to prevent them from getting deeper? Wrinkle reduction treatments can benefit you by smoothing out these lines for a less tired, aged appearance.

As we age, collagen and elastin production in the skin slows down. This results in fine lines and wrinkles becoming more pronounced. Overactive muscle movement can also contribute to the deepening of these lines.

Some people are naturally more expressive and have these lines form earlier.

Longevity

Wrinkle reduction treatment results can be seen in 24 hours. Final results are achieved in 2 weeks and treatment results can last up to 3-4 months.

At Complexion Corner, we strive for natural results and cater to your desired look. Our desired aesthetic is always the natural, undetectable look, however we do cater for those who love the completely smooth, minimal movement look.

FAQ

What age can I start getting Wrinkle Reduction treatment?

You must be at the minimum age of 18 to receive Wrinkle Reduction treatments in Australia by a cosmetic practitioner. The formation of lines on the skin is not age dependent. The following can increase wrinkle formation

  • If you are an expressive person and tend to raise your eyebrows/squint/frown regularly
  • If you smoke regularly
  • Excessive sun exposure
  • High stress levels.
Is Wrinkle Reduction really a preventative treatment?

Yes, Wrinkle Reduction targets lines present upon movement (dynamic lines). It is recommended to treat them at their dynamic stage to prevent them from becoming etched into the skin permanently (static lines).

What are dynamic and static lines?
Dynamic lines are fine lines and wrinkles that are seen upon movement (eg. raising eyebrows or frowning), these lines are not present at full facial rest.
Static lines are fine lines and wrinkles that are seen upon rest or when no expression is made at all. These lines can make us appear more upset or tired than we feel.
It is recommended to treat dynamic fine lines and wrinkles before they become static fine lines. The reasoning behind this is once these lines become established into the skin’s surface it can take several sessions to improve this.
If you already have static lines – it is recommended to treat areas of concern every 3-4 months.
What treatments can I combine with wrinkle reduction to reduce static lines?

Certain medical grade treatments such as medical grade skin peels, Nanofusion, Dermasweep and ULTRAfusion is recommended in conjunction with wrinkle reduction treatments. We work alongside dermal clinician Janet at Divine Skin clinic and highly recommend her advanced medical skin treatments.
Use of medical grade skin care products every day can also reduce static lines. Eg. Retinol/Vitamin A serums.
