Are Lip Volumisation treatments safe?
In Australia, Lip Volumising treatments can only be performed by licensed, medical professionals. The products used at Complexion Corner are all TGA approved and have under gone extensive testing and evaluation to ensure its safety and efficacy. The effects of Lip Volumising treatments are temporary and your body breaks down the naturally occurring product over time – usually within a few months. If you are unsatisfied with the results or experience any adverse effects, the treatment can be discontinued and the effects will metabolise away overtime. Alternatively, elective dissolving (lip rehab) can be done to reverse all effects of Lip Volumising treatments. Several sessions may be required to full dissolve older product in the lips.
I’ve had my lips filled elsewhere, can I still have treatment done at Complexion Corner?
Yes, however we only treat over hyaluronic acid volumising treatments. If you unsure what treatment you’ve had in the past, please contact us directly and we can discuss your options. If you would like to have your old lip product dissolved (lip rehab) we highly recommend you see the original practitioner who treated you. However, if you are unable to do so, please reach out to us and we can discuss your options.
