Hydrate, enhance and glow

with Facial Contouring

Facial Contouring treatments with a Cosmetic Nurse can help to rejuvenate, enhance and re-volumise certain areas of the face. Whether you’re looking for a beautification result to refresh your appearance; Facial Contouring treatments can benefit you.

Due to the ageing process, collagen and elastin production declines overtime, this results in dehydrated, sagging tissue. By remodelling the skin and supporting the tissues, we can help stimulate your body’s cells to produce more collagen and elastin.

How can it benefit me

Beautification benefits: Facial Contouring can be used to enhance, contour and accentuate areas of the face for more defined look. eg. defined cheekbones, chiseled jawline, sculpted chin. Beautification treatments are more popular with younger clients.

Restorative benefits: Facial Contouring treatments can also be used to rejuvenate the face for a more youthful look. It can soften smile lines (nasolabial folds), blend lower face sagging and jowls for a more lifted look and smooth fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth. Restorative treatments are more popular with mature clients.

Cheek

For beautification: Treatment to the cheeks can provide a more lifted, contoured and defined look. This is great for clients who would like to enhance their features for a more lifted and defined appearance. Popular treatment for younger clients.

For rejuvenation/restoration: Due to the ageing process, the face can lose volume and appear dragged down or have a ‘saggy’ appearance. Re-volumisation in this area can help replace volume loss and provide structure for a more youthful, lifted look. Re-volumisation to the medial cheek can furthermore improve the appearance of a depleted tear trough/under eye area.

Chin

Treatment to the chin is a great way to balance the face for a more harmonized look. This treatment can correct asymmetries and lack of structure in the chin. It is important to consider chin treatments if you have had multiple Lip Volumisation treatments as the chin supports the lip structure. Chin Volumisation Treatments can be combined with Advanced Treatments depending on your desired results.

For elongation: This volumising treatment focuses on lengthening the chin to improve your front profile. A shortened chin can make the face look stunted and unbalanced. By treating this area, it can rebalance the face and inadvertently improve all the features of the face. Treatment for elongation can also camouflage the appearance of a double chin.

For projection: this treatment focuses on projecting the chin forwards to improve your side profile. A recessed chin can make the lower face look weak due to its lack of definition and structure. By bringing the chin forward with a volumising treatment it can balance out the proportions of your side profile for a more harmonized look. And no, our aim is not to give you a ‘witch like’ chin!

Jawline

Jawline Contouring can provide definition to the lower face resulting in a stronger side profile. Jawline Contouring and Pre-jowl Sulcus Volumisation can be used interchangeably as they are both treatments along the jawline.

Marionette Replacement (corners of mouth):

Due to the ageing process, the face can lose volume and appear dragged down or have a ’saggy’ appearance. By Re-Volumising this area, it can help replace volume loss, support the lower face, soften fine lines and reduce any shadowing giving an anti-ageing effect.

Pre-Jowl Sulcus Deficit/Heaviness:

If you’re noticing heaviness in the lower face by your jawline, pre jowl sulcus volumisation may be suitable for you. This area is otherwise known as the ‘jowls’ of the face, is a common concern for the ageing client. Treatment in this area will help blend the deficit between your chin and jawline for a more blended, seamless transition. Some people naturally have a deficit between their chin and jawline and can benefit from this treatment regardless of ageing concerns. Pre jowl Sulcus Volumisation and Jawline Contouring can be used interchangeably as they are both treatments along the jawline.

Perioral

Due to the ageing process, the mouth and surrounding structures can appear more wrinkled as the face loses volume. By smoothing and hydrating the structures around the mouth, it can help support the lips and lower face, soften fine lines and smooth out any irregularities. This can be combined with Wrinkle Reduction treatments in the upper lip to further reduce fine line formation above the lip.

Skin thinning & laxity can be further addressed by treating this area to hydrate and stimulate collagen & elastin production in the skin. Nanofusion and ultrafusion medical skin treatments is highly recommended with peri oral smoothing for best results. We work alongside dermal clinician Janet at Divine Skin Clinic and highly recommend her services as our treatments go hand in hand with advanced skin treatments.

Nasolabial Folds & Smile Lines

As our bone resorbs/shrinks with the ageing process, the midface can appear more ‘sunken in’ and heaviness is noticed around the smile lines. By addressing the smile lines, it can help soften and reduce shadowing in this area. Please note that in most cases, Cheek Volumisation is recommended prior to nasolabial smoothing treatments. Only small amounts of volume are placed in the nasolabial folds at one time.
